Maris Pumps are an independent, family run water pump company based in Chesterfield and Leeds who specialise in the hire and sales of water pumps & hoses.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Fitter based at our Leeds (Morley) branch. Below is a non-exhaustive list of some of the responsibilities of the role:

• Servicing & repairing pumps to a high standard
• Testing pumps on our purpose-built test tank
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults

Skills/attributes

· Excellent time management skills

· Fork lift truck/telehandler experience

· Be able to effectively prioritise workload

· Self-motivated with a positive attitude

· Full driving licence including towing licence

Ideally you will have previous experience in working with diesel engines, 12V electrical systems & trailer braking systems.

You will be required to undergo induction training at our Chesterfield Head Office.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with emergency out of hours cover required on a rota basis (Including weekends)

Holidays: 21 days + Statutory days

Salary depending on skills & experience
